Louisiana United Methodist Clergy File Suit Against the Louisiana Annual Conference

These ministers stood up for the past as they addressed the present issues and sought to protect the future of the United Methodist Church in Louisiana. Unfortunately, their suit was dismissed by the Baton Rouge judge who failed to seek property issues of the church as civil law concerns. The example of these devoted clergy is one that all UMC faithful should follow – speaking out against the misinformation and division within churches that lead them to disaffiliate in a process that is clouded.
